Committee Responsibilities


  • Maintain Website, Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter & Flickr)
  • Write communications for press releases to distribute to media
  • Maintain monthly e-news


  • Coordinate and lead yearly Golf Outing in June
  • Work with location for Golf Outing
  • Communicate Golf Sponsorships
  • Attract signup for foursomes


  • IMPACT Awards take place in September of every year
  • Coordinate and lead Intent to Enter Submissions for the IMPACT Awards
  • Gather and invite community recognized judges to participate
  • Coordinate submissions
  • Hold judging and coordination of scores
  • Host event and coordinate with event location
  • Create IMPACT Award overview video production


  • Meets the First Thursday of Every Month allowing members to provide opportunity to network and share leads within team
  • Focuses on attracting and retaining professionals within the Real Estate Industry to help build a chapter whose accomplishments are dynamic and diverse
  • Is dedicated to recruiting New Members to the organization who add value based on their network, diverse specialty category, and commitment to elevating CREW Detroit to premier professional organization
  • Plans and hosts bi-annual prospective member networking events to introduce guests to CREW Detroit and provide an opportunity to network with CREW Detroit’s membership: Mix, Mingle & CREW and CREW + You
  • Runs CREW XCHANGE, a program dedicated to connecting new members in their first year with veteran CREW members in a ‘team’ environment
  • Maintain membership data and statistics
  • Coordinate new member applications every month for review and approval by the Board of Directors
  • Encourage current membership to renew their membership every year in January


  • Lead and coordinate CREW Careers (City of Detroit, High School Mentoring Event)
  • Lead and coordinate UCREW Events (Mentoring and Networking with College and University Students)
  • Host and coordinate Community Based Volunteer Events with CREW Detroit Membership
  • Coordinate Holiday Fundraiser to support local Women’s Charities

Professional Development

  • Lead professional development opportunities for CREW Detroit membership
  • Lead professional development leadership series every other year


  • Promote programs recognizing female leadership and achievements
  • Provide several members-only programs
  • Joint Economic Forecast Event coordinate every year in January
  • Coordinate and host jobsite walkthrough event
  • Coordinate and host yearly holiday party
  • Coordinate additional events monthly balanced with Membership, IMPACT, Golf and Outreach


  • Work with returning sponsors and new potential sponsors to meet sponsorship goals each year
  • Coordinate sponsorship brochure and sponsorship offerings
  • Coordinate sponsorship benefits with each sponsor
  • Maintain sponsorship coverage and recognition at all CREW Detroit Events
